Azione Verde University, Imo State, has received official approval from the Federal Government as one of nine newly established private universities across the country.
The announcement was made by the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Maruf Alausa, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in Abuja.
Speaking during the briefing, the Minister explained that the approval followed a rigorous review process by the National Universities Commission (NUC). He noted that Azione Verde University and other approved institutions had undergone years of evaluation and had already invested heavily in modern infrastructure and academic facilities before receiving final clearance.
For Azione Verde University, this approval is a landmark achievement that affirms the vision of its management to build a world-class institution of learning in Nigeria. The University is fully prepared to open its doors to students, offering innovative academic programs, modern facilities, and a learning environment designed to produce graduates of global relevance.
